Lil Baby Reveals Young Thug’s Interest in Joint Mixtape with Future

Lil Baby is gearing up to deliver a monumental year for his fans, with more music than ever before. After releasing his highly anticipated fourth studio album, WHAM, just last week, the Atlanta rapper has hinted at another major collaboration that could shake up the hip-hop world.

The WHAM album features big names like 21 Savage and GloRilla, alongside the standout track “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber,” which unites Lil Baby with Future and Young Thug. The deluxe edition of the project is already available on Motown Records’ website and is set to hit streaming platforms this Friday (January 10).

More Music on the Horizon

In December, Lil Baby teased fans with news of a second album, Dominique, slated for release in February. Speaking on Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place Podcast, he explained the unique concept behind releasing two albums in one year. “Now I’m gonna drop a WHAM album and a Dominique album,” he said. “Completely different album.”

But that’s not all. During a new episode of Spotify’s RapCaviar Presents: Day In The Life, Lil Baby revealed plans for yet another exciting project.

“Me and Future was working on a joint tape,” the rapper shared. “Now, Slime came home… you know he ain’t goin’ for that. He like, ‘Sh*t.’ It’s actually Thug’s idea. When he was in jail, he was like, ‘Call Pluto, I want y’all to do a tape together.’”

Fans Anticipate an Epic Collaboration

While Lil Baby didn’t confirm a release date or whether Young Thug will actively participate in the project, the mere possibility of this trio teaming up has fans buzzing.

The collaboration between Lil Baby, Future, and Young Thug has been a long time coming. Last year, following Young Thug’s release from prison, the three artists were spotted in the studio together, sparking speculation about new music. Thug’s first tweet after his release even hinted at upcoming tracks with Lil Baby.

For now, fans can look forward to Dominique in February and keep their ears open for more news about this highly anticipated joint mixtape. If 2025 is anything like it’s shaping up to be, Lil Baby will dominate the charts and playlists all year long.
